.The Cattery RiBo' s is a joint project. We are living in RHEDE and BOCHOLT-  two towns north of the german industry area 'Ruhrgebiet'  which is also very close to the dutch border.

RIBO's - The Name of the cattery was composed by the first two characters of our lastnames:
Ri = Ricken and Bo=Bohusch

The cattery RIBO's is specialized to breeding of Birman Cats, Balinese and Javanese using the colours CINNAMON and FAWN. Our main target is to get the new colours cinnamon and fawn for the Birman Cats, including all variances of tortie- and tabby-points.
But in addition to the colours Cinnamon- and Fawn-Point we sometimes have also Birman kittens in all the other classic colours availaible: Seal-point, Blue-Point, Chocolate-Point, Lilac-Point, Red-Point, Creme-Point, Tortie-Point and Tabby-Point.

Since several years we are growing up Birman Cats with our own catteries. We are
Claudia Ricken - Cattery 'De mon Coeur'  and
Renate and Johannes Bohusch  - Cattery 'of Irawadi-Nimh'

As already mentioned we are not beginners in breeding race cats:
we nearly have 25 years of experience to backup the new cattery.

Being a team with a lot of enthusiasm and good knowledge of genetics we now attempt to breed the new colours CINNAMON and FAWN to our favourite race the Birman Cat.
The cattery RiBo's was founded after we had set up a unique project for breeding these colours in Germany.

We are breeding with excellent Birman Cats having shown at various international shows. Our kitten are registered by "Deutsche Edelkatze (DE) e.V" - a member of the World Cat Federation (WCF).

From time to time we have kitten available for those people who appreciate the new colour
